Infrastructure services

IT support, Active Directory and migrations within your existing environment

Hands-on support for servers, domains and local equipment, with weekend scheduling for work that needs quieter windows. I work within the systems you already run, not against them.

01 IT support

Stability across server, domain and local equipment

Day-to-day support for the infrastructure that keeps a workplace running. I investigate faults, maintain hardware and software, and document each change so the next person knows what was done and why.

02 Active Directory

Audit, consolidation and role structuring

Review of existing Active Directory tenants, including domain cleanup, consolidation of duplicate or stale objects, and clearer role structuring. Changes are staged and tested before they reach live users.

03 Migrations

Migrations inside the environment you have

Planned moves within existing on-premise and hybrid estates, without replacing viable stacks. Where a change touches live operations, I schedule the cutover for the weekend, when fewer people depend on the systems.

How weekend work runs

Preparation, staging, cutover and check

01

Preparation

Review the current environment, confirm scope and agree a rollback plan before anything changes.

02

Staging

Build and test each change in a non-production copy so the live estate is not the first place it runs.

03

Weekend cutover

Apply the change during a planned weekend window, when fewer people depend on the systems involved.

04

Post-check

Verify services, accounts and access, then document what changed and hand over a clear record.
