IT Infrastructure & Support, London, United Kingdom
Opti4Infra — infrastructure that holds under pressure
Opti4Infra is an independent IT infrastructure practice based in London. Over five years of hands-on experience — including apprenticeships — it has supported critical systems across financial trading, television production, local government and private healthcare. Opti4Infra brings that same production-grade discipline to London businesses that need dependable IT support, Active Directory work and carefully planned migrations, often scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, when fewer people depend on the systems being changed.

Critical infrastructure experience
Environments where infrastructure must hold
Opti4Infra's background spans financial trading, television production, local government and private healthcare. Each of these sectors depends on systems that must stay available, secure and predictable, and that experience shapes how we approach support, directory work and migrations.
We work within the environment you already have, rather than assuming everything needs to be replaced. Planned changes are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, when fewer people depend on the systems being updated.
Experience across sectors where systems cannot fail
A snapshot of the environments Opti4Infra has supported. Each is described by sector and work area — no client is named, and the list is structured so more detailed anonymised case studies can be added over time.

Infrastructure work, in detail
Two anonymised examples of the kind of hands-on infrastructure work Opti4Infra carries out — described by what was done, with no client named and no results claimed beyond the work itself.
Migration
Linux-to-Windows print server migration
Migrated approximately 200 printers from a Linux-based print server to Windows, using PowerShell to automate the bulk creation of print queues, ports and driver assignments rather than configuring each printer by hand.

Virtualisation
vSphere cluster with vCenter, DRS and HA
Stood up a three-host vSphere cluster managed by vCenter, with Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) and High Availability (HA) enabled for automatic balancing and failover. Three Active Directory domain controllers were deployed and distributed across the hypervisors so no single host carried all of them, with replication configured between them.

Why Opti4Infra
Production-grade support, planned around your business
Opti4Infra brings the discipline of environments where systems cannot afford to fail — trading floors, production HQs and public-sector estates — to London businesses that need dependable IT support and carefully planned change.
Works within your existing estate
I adapt to the systems you already run rather than pushing a rip-and-replace, so you keep what works and spend where it counts.
Weekend cutovers
Changes that touch live operations are scheduled for the weekend, when fewer people depend on the systems being changed.
Tested before they go live
Each change is staged and tested in a non-production copy before it reaches your live users, with a rollback plan agreed up front.
Documented, not mysterious
Every change is recorded so your team knows what was done and why — no tribal knowledge and no surprises after handover.
White-glove support
Priority same-day support for executives and teams, built on years of VIP and trading-floor support experience.
Direct access to the engineer
You deal directly with the engineer doing the work, not a helpdesk queue — so decisions are quick and accountability is clear.
